LUX Elite Bev Morris

Beverly Morris was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she grew up training in all styles of dance. While in high school at the age of 17, she performed with Janet Jackson at her “Unbreakable” World Tour concert as a backup dancer. After such an incredible experience, Beverly knew she wanted to pursue a career in dance. For the three years to follow, her dancing got her a spot as a company assistant for a dance convention called “The Streetz”. During those tours, she assisted and trained under choreographers such a Mollee Gray, Donovan Gibbs, and Alexa Moffett. Beverly has also trained closely under Seth Robinson and Jeff Wolfe while being a Tribe Dance assistant for 3 years. Beverly’s love for dance not only shows in her personal training, but also through her love of teaching. She teaches hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and technique to kids of all ages. She loves being able to share her passion with the next generation. While her love for dance continues, most recently Beverly graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Beverly is reliable, hard-working, professional, and determined. She believes a good work ethic makes a great dancer and continued learning leads to greatness. Currently, she travels the country assisting her mentor, Sloan-Taylor Rabinor. Beverly hopes to one day move to Los Angeles, California to live out her dreams of being a professional commercial dancer.
