

Hannah started dancing at the age of 8 and took her first dance class at Plumb Performing Arts Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Through Plumb, she was afforded the opportunity to train with Jennifer Golonka, Thang Dao, Duncan Cooper, and MJ Melissa Jackson as well as having the experience of assisting the faculty at NYCDA, which helped contribute to her versatility as a dancer. Throughout her years as a competitive dancer, Hannah has placed within the top 5 at NYCDA Nationals and has had the previous honor of performing as a soloist in their gala as well as performing at the Joyce Theater in New York City in honor of their college scholarship foundation.
Hannah is grateful to have spent her summers training at Arts Umbrella, Juilliard, Francisco Gella’s Professional Dancer’s Institute, and with Peter Chu’s company, ChuThis. Through these intensives, she has had the opportunity of learning from Artemis Gordon, Aurélie Cayla, Francisco Martinez, Marc Boivin, Rafael Sady, James Kudelka, Sidra Bell, Yvan Dubreuil, Peter Chu, Rodger Van Der Poel, Pam Chu, Jillian Meyers, Jon Bond, Linda Kent, Alexandra Damiani, Ashley Tuttle, Brian Reeder, Risa Steinberg, Navarro Novy-Williams, Zina Zinchenko, and Bobbi Jene Smith. She has even had the honor of performing works choreographed by Crystal Pite, Jirí Kylián, Sharon Eyal, Lukas Timulak, Ohad Naharin, Tom Weinberger, William Forsythe, and Marco Goecke, which were originally set on companies such as Nederlands Dans Theater, Kidd Pivot, Batsheva, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Hannah has also spent several summers staying at Scott Jovovich’s residence, training with him and his faculty, as well as performing in his Nutcracker over the years, dancing the principal role of Dewdrop. She attended LADM’s Kairos where she worked exclusively with Jackie Sleight, Christian Vincent, Michael Rooney, Nikky Paramo, Alison Faulk, Eric Sanchez, Kathryn Burns, Ryan Heffington, Dani Vitale, Liz Imperio, and Aisha Francis.
After Hannah graduated in 2019, she was awarded LADM’s Senior Magic Performer of the Year and moved to New York City to attend Steps On Broadway’s two year Conservatory under the direction of Joe Lanteri and Mindy Jackson. During her time in NYC, she trained with Kurt Froman, Billy Griffin, James Kinney, Lloyd Culbreath, Dana Moore, Shannon Lewis, Albert Blackstone, Nicholas Palmquist, Chris Jarosz, Max Stone, Michelle Cave, Patti Wilcox, Nick Kenkel, Andy Blankenbuehler, Dee Caspary, Jan Horvath, Jessica Castro, JoLea Maffei, Robert LaFosse, Emily Schoen, and Chaz Wolcott. While training at Steps, she had the privilege and honor of performing Bob Fosse’s original choreography from Sweet Charity, restaged by Lloyd Culbreath. She also performed works by Jerome Robbins restaged by Robert LaFosse, George Balanchine restaged by Kurt Froman, and Sonya Tayeh’s choreography from Moulin Rouge, restaged by Khori Petinaud. Hannah’s favorite memory of training at Steps was having the opportunity to work one on one with Nicholas Palmquist to create and film a concept video.
