My love for dance began at the age of 2 watching “So You Think You Can Dance” on the tv screen. My mom and dad saw the passion and love I had for it and decided to put me into classes at the age of 4. I instantly loved it and found it a place where I could express myself in anyway I wanted through the various amounts of styles I trained in. I’ve trained in styles including jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, and contemporary. Throughout my years of dance i’ve assisted Patrick Pulkrabek who is a tremendous choreographer. I met Patrick through my home studio, Lana’s Dance Studio, and have worked with him for many years. I was also an LADM senior company dancer which is where I met DJ and many other amazing mentors who sparked my dream in becoming a professional dancer in the near future. I got to work with DJ more closely and many other amazing faculty from lux when they would come to my studio every year and I fell in love with the environment. I loved all of the amazing different styles, classes and teaching techniques they had to offer and the knowledge from dancers who’ve had and still have such amazing careers. I’m so thankful to have become an elite dancer and I can’t wait for the opportunities and challenges it will bring to me.
