Cory Bennett

 

Born to a set of jazz musicians, Cory B has been consumed in the world of music and art her entire life. At the age of 9, her journey through dance began as she started experimenting with her rich musicality through movement. Hip hop was her first experience with dance and throughout the years remained to be her deepest passion.

 

By the age of 13, Cory began choreographing for large cultural events, parades, and festivals, challenging her skills at a young age and preparing her for an early adulthood rich with life experience. Throughout her early teens, she began competing vigorously with competition teams while starting to dance for touring local artists in the DFW area. This jam packed lifestyle of balancing life and what she loved most became her greatest benefit for the years to come. At the age of 18, Cory B was accepted into Clear Talent Group Agency, a professional dance agency based out of NYC and Los Angeles.

 

Throughout years of extensive training in every style, touring with numerous local artists, and practicing her skill in choreography, her self reliant journey in New York City had arrived and she was set to make the most of her time spent there her greatest success. Living the dance life in NYC, Cory B was able to dance with internationally known company, “The Movement”, training with top choreographers based out of NYC and LA, dancing for major artist “Ryan Leslie”, choreographing, dancing, and touring with local artists based out of international markets, choreographing and dancing in music videos for rising BET artists, and most importantly appreciating the daily grind and struggle that New York City had to offer.

 

Finally moving back to Dallas after years spent in the big city, Cory is eternally grateful for the rich experience she acquired throughout her journey and is excited to be paying it forward and helping mold rising dancers who are ready to hustle hard for their dreams.
